Queer venues celebrate gay history and are places where people reclaim agency over their bodies and minds through recognition and collective purpose. Guided by the principles of pleasure activism, I seek liberation in the sphere of sexuality. Through photography, I explore the dynamic between power and desire within a political framework. My lens captures intimacy in the underground queer and BDSM scenes, using black and white film to narrate a visual story. A tale about love, struggle, pain, and lust. As an active participant, I immerse myself in the space of the cruise club to grasp what is hidden beneath the surface of eroticism. Visually inspired by Rüdiger Trautsch, Libuše Jarcovjáková, and Karlheinz Weinberger, I document personal moments of vulnerability and resilience. Essentially, the photography archive stands as an ode to the complex human journey and a unified resistance against marginalization.
